Hi all, welcome back to my Rogue PvP Guide site. You probably already know that while a well played Rogue, in PvP action, is nearly always an unbeatable opponent, in the hands of a noob a PvP Rogue is basically useless.
For starters, Rogues cannot heal themselves, and they wear the second weakest type of armor in World of Warcraft, period.
These facts alone put them at a big disadvantage when they come up against other opponents unless they have at least, learned how to put their PvP talents to good use.
I’ve now built an awesome PvP Rogue, with the help of this amazing new PvP pwnage guide.
Rogue PvP Guide To Rogues In the battlegrounds
When it comes to the battlegrounds, a PvP Rogue needs to focus mainly on attacking.
Rogues simply do not have the armor or stamina to be very good at defending a base.
Never the less, with their unique ability to stealth in totally unnoticed, Rogues make great base attackers in Alterac Valley and one of the best flag carriers in Warsong Gulch.
The secret is to stealth in and take the enemy down before they even know what or more precisely ‘who’ hit them.
And when you need to ‘capture’ the flag, a PvP Rogue has the advantage of superior Sprint ability.
The sprint allows them to put huge distances between themselves and opponents.
Rogue PvP Guide To Rogues In the arena
For the vast majority of PvP Rogues, arena is the ultimate PvP scenario.
The most important thing you need to remember as a Rogue in arena, is that the team as a whole is far more important than the single player.
Your role is to use your PvP Rogue talents to not only control the crowd, but also to take down the opponents in the fastest possible time.
At the same time you should be avoiding taking on too much damage to yourself, this way your healer isn’t wasting resources.
In most cases this will mean;
1. Stunning the opponent that your team is attacking so they can take him down.
2. Or taking out an opponent while other teammates take down the tank.
Your ability to Stealth becomes a huge asset here, and DOTs (Damage Over Time) from your poisons could quite easily end up being the winning blow in the match.

Rogue PvP Guide – Different Play Styles
If you’re searching for the best allround guide to PvP then check out the all new Arena Pwnage.

Now then;
When it comes to PvP Rogue strategies, you have three different play styles that will be the most effective to use with PvP Rogue talents and Rogue spells.
These are;
1. Rushing down an opponent,
2. Controlling an opponent,
3. And doing burst damage against an opponent.
Rogue PvP Guide To – The Rush Down
Rushing down an opponent is what you are doing when you attempt to kill them as quickly as possible.
Essentially, you will be using the most of your PvP Rogue spells and cool downs all at once.
This method is more effective in arena play when you have a limited number of opponents than in the battlegrounds where you are playing against 15 or more enemy players that can come back to life 30 seconds later.
You need to maximize the use of your combo points, use Vanish to avoid attacks, and open with something like Crippling Poison to do the most DOT damage.
You must be able to move constantly and stay behind them, as well as time your kicks and gouges.
This style offers the highest damage over time, but you do not get to take advantage of as many stealthed abilities.
Rogue PvP Guide To – Controlling Your Enemy
For lower level PvP Rogues, control is one of the best ways to rule the battlegrounds.
This method becomes less effective at the higher levels, as the increased health, armor, and resilience of your opponents make it much more difficult to take the player down.
I am a controlling PvP Rogue and I’ll use the most of my Gouge and Blind abilities to prevent another player from hitting me this in turn gives me much more time to hit my opponent from behind or throw on a bandage.
The disadvantage to focusing on controlling PvP Rogue spells is that it can draw a fight out longer and it becomes a matter of who has the most armor and best health.
You lose DPS keeping an opponent stunned, so it is best to use it on enemies that are not at full health.
Make sure that the healer has already been taken out prior to attempting this PvP Rogue strategy.
Rogue PvP Guide To – Burst damage
This style of Rogue play involves stealthing and re-stealthing in order to do the most damage in the shortest period of time.
This means that only Subtlety PvP Rogues will be truly good at it.
A Shadowstep Ambush can take out a large chunk of the enemy’s health while giving you enough combo points for a quick finisher.
In order to make the most out of a Subtlety Rogue in PvP you must be able to re-stealth and stay stealthed until you can land a solid opening move.
It is best utilized against classes that cannot health themselves.
Also, watch out for any DOT spells that may land on you, as these will make it difficult to re-stealth effectively.

Rogue PvP Guide To – Stealth.
If you play a PvP Rogue, you likely know how important it is to use all of the tricks that you have at your disposal.
If you play against PvP Rogues, then there is a good chance you hate all of the tricks that they have.
The ultimate Rogue talent is the ability to stealth.
Stealthing gives you access to even more powerful attacks, and allows you to sneak up on the enemy.
A well-played Rogue can take on nearly any other class and do some major damage before the other guy even gets a shot off.

Rogue PvP Guide To – Re-stealthing.
One of the most basic Rogue PvP combat techniques involves re-stealthing in the middle of the fight.
This not only allows you to do more damage against your opponent, but can cause them to lose aggro on you.
If they can’t see you, then they can’t hit you.
The easiest way to do this is to use Vanish, however with its 3 minute cooldown this Rogue spell should be used wisely and if you can’t break away from combat.
Other options include slowing down your target and then running out of combat.
You could even consider;
Blind.
Gouge.
Kidney Shot.
or Crippling Poison.
This will inevitably make getting away easier.
Then as soon as you are out of combat, you can hit the stealth and run back in.

Rogue PvP Guide To Increasing survivability.
So why should Rogues consider maxing out their stealth ability?
The Rogue PvP talents allow Rogues to gain even better Vanish and stealthing skills.
When stealthed, a Rogue can use a bandage to heal himself, wait for an enemy’s buff or shield to wear out, or use Rogue spells that create extra talent points.
All of these things will help to keep you alive longer while killing the enemy faster when engaged in PvP combat.

We Rogues are the bane of the Battlegrounds and for good reason, our ability to stealth in and stun an opponent while hitting them with some major DPS often causes us to be feared and hated.
But if you don’t mind embracing your “dark side” and fighting a little dirty, then roll a Rogue, get yourself a Guide To Rogue PvP, and prepare to have some fun.
When it comes to choosing a Rogue PvP Talent Guide, use your playing style to guide you.
If you rely on Mutilate, a Rogue PvP guide that focuses on building an Assassination Rogue will be the most useful for you.
If you prefer to hide in the shadows and use your stealth to your advantage, then you will find the Rogue PvP spec of Subtlety to be more your style.

While you are looking for Rogue PvP Guides, I would also look into getting a Rogue PvP arena guide. Arena is one of the places where a Rogue can truly shine.
It’s almost like dueling, but still involves some strategy.
And a good arena team will be the fastest way to earn those really awesome tier sets, meaning that if you can win there, you will win anywhere.
If you want to PvP, you really must look into a Rogue.

Rogue PvP Guide – Killer On The Battlefields
Chances are you won’t see me coming until it’s too late.
By the time you know I’m there, I’ve sapped you, hit you with some poisons, and done some major damage to your health points.

Nearly every Rogue PvP guide will tell you the same thing, you must play to your strengths, which are stealth and trickery.
A Rogue against a Paladin in battle will end up with the Rogue going down if you try to face him out in the open.
Rogue armor just won’t hold up.
But catch him off guard, and you have a good shot of winning.

Rogue PvP Guide to Choosing a Rogue Talent Build
This will determine where your strength are.
Assassination Rogues can sneak up behind opponents and kill them quickly, but they have to be aware that some players will be able to detect their stealth.
Combat Rogues must pay close attention to their Rogue weapons, as this Rogue PvP build is designed to allow them to hit their target quickly and for multiple times.
This does however leave you more open to attack, so it works best if you are going in as a group.
Subtlety Rogues use stealth to their advantage, and most Rogue PvP guides will have Rogues with this talent spec either guarding the healer of their team or going after the healer of the opposing team.
You won’t hit as hard as the other two talent trees, so you must be adept at using stealth to your advantage.

Hi and Welcome to my Rogue PvP Guide - I’m Cybil.
I intend to share my secrets to success in PvP with a Rogue, I’ll be adding Rogue talents, Rogue gear guides and many tips I’ve picked up on the Battlegrounds.
Rogue PVP GuideHere is, (in my opinion) the best all round PVP Guide, I highly recommend that you go Check It Out Now if you are at all serious about rolling a Rogue.
If you haven’t yet tried PvP as a Rogue, then you are missing out.
Rogues were made for the Battlegrounds, at least I think so.
We’re fast, we’re sneaky, and we can do amazing amounts of DPS.
The proper Rogue skills and Rogue armor, combined with a strong Rogue talent build and we are darn near unbeatable.
If you know how to play your Rogue, then the other side won’t even see you coming.
The only downside is if the other team spots you too quickly, if you can’t get that first shot in, you might as well not bother.
Since we only wear leather, we won’t stand up to a Warrior in a fist fight, but hit him first with a high DPS attack and start wearing him down with poisons and you’ll find the fight is a lot more even.
If you want to play a PvP Rogue, you’ll need to find the Best Guide To WoW PvP.
That way, you can learn the extra WoW strategies and secrets that will make you that much more deadly on the Battlefield.
Use this information to your advantage and you’ll find that you will become one of the most hated characters on the battleground as well.
